Who wants their MTV back?

I'm not sure why - though I'd like to think it's because MTV harkened back to the days when they were the best thing on cable because you could watch awesome music videos and, every once in a while, catch a cool show (Week in Rock, Yo! MTV Raps, House of Style, anyone??) - but someone at MTV had the brilliant idea to put EVERY SINGLE MUSIC VIDEO EVER online.

So, forget for a second that MTV is currently a reality TV cesspool (I'm sorry, but The Hills is stupid, and how many times can the Real World/Road Rules people run shirtless through an obstacle course before getting a job?), and remember how awesome it was back in the day.

This day marks a victory for internet abusers at offices across the nation.

FIRST! Only kidding.

Wowmygosh what a great day for people like myself, who, because of parents with theories, missed music videos the first time around. All of them, except for 'Wonderwall.' Now I can catch up to my childhood, to my peers' childhoods, to... well, probably not the present. Let's be real. I have a job. Still though, thanks for the link, dude.

Then I recommend you watch Rick Astley, The Go-Go's, Guns 'N' Roses, Run DMC, Wilson Phillips, Nirvana, and Sir Mix-A-Lot...that should give you a good smattering of the heydays of MTV that you missed.

MTV is awful! It was called MUSIC Television for a reason, and sadly, that reason has gone out the window. Luckly, I have MTV2, MTV Jams, MTV Hits, and Fuse to get my fill of acutal music videos.

Oh. My. God.
I LOVE Rick Astley and I ain't afraid to see it!

OMG. I completely agree. MTV is just trash. Frankly I miss the old days of the late night "Night Tracks" programming on TBS that started it all.
