I'm Back, Baby!

Hey folks! Yes I'm still here. Yes I've been busy. No I haven't forgotten your massive need to be distracted from your job.

To kick off my return to the blogoshpere - I can't believe this thing still fits me! - I've decided to focus on the recently announced Oscar nominations. It was either that or wax philosophically about the Republican primaries, though I figured we'd all had enough of the Conservative X-Men Action Figures: Mitt-Tron 3000, Sweater-Vested Rick, Ron Paul-stiltsken, and Flotilla-sized Newt.

So the Oscars it is.

In addition to entertainment-related stuffs, I'll be writing about other news that doesn't involve as many pretty people, but is actually relevant. Feel free to hit me in the comments with some subject ideas!
